Burglars break garage door to steal vehicles from car dealer

OTTAWA COUNTY, MI – Police say two vehicles were stolen in a break-in at an auto-sales shop.

Ottawa County sheriff’s deputies responded at 10:11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, to a report of a burglary at Miedema Auto Sales on Lake Michigan Drive in Allendale Township.

Investigators determined that burglars broke an overhead garage door to gain entry.

They then stole two vehicles that were inside the garage. Police notified neighboring police agencies to look for the stolen vehicles.
